RMTC was selected for the largest marine terminal design in the history of the State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Harbors Division.  RMTC was responsible for about 80 acres of new marine terminal infrastructure design with an estimated construction cost of $250 million. The scope of work for this project included the preparation of plans, designs, specifications, and cost estimates to construct a new container yard, roadways and gates, buildings, security fencing, and utility infrastructure improvements. Work also includes all necessary activities associated with the design project including coordination with agencies, the preparation of necessary permit applications and conducting necessary studies to support the permit applications.
