Location: Honolulu, Oahu
Project Type: Facilities, Water and Wastewater

As part of the development agreement for lands of the former Estate of James Campbell in the Kapolei area, construction of a new wastewater pump station and force main was required.  RMTC designed a 6-mgd pump station, emergency generator building, fuel tank, and 6,000+ linear feet of 30-inch diameter force main to meet City standards. In addition to design, RMTC obtained Department of Planning and Permitting approvals and building and grading permits.  RMTC planners prepared NPDES permit applications and Best Management Practices plan. RMTC also provided construction management services for this project.  RMTC’s design included high-powered (+125hp) Horizontal Submersible Pumps, the first of its size installed in the State of Hawaii.
